This variety of Artistry Coffee is ethically selected and roasted by Redemption Roasters.
This coffee comes from the Nyamasheke District of Rwanda.
The naturally processed coffee lot gives rise to more pronounced fruit notes and boozy sweetness. The geography of the Gisheke Washing Station brings a constant wind flow that moves between 2 steep hills - this aids the processing and drying of the naturally processed coffee. The ethical purchase of this coffee is facilitated by Raw Material who reinvest profits back into the coffee communities. In Rwanda they work with others to help co-operatives increase the value of their production to enable their coffees to achieve good pricing and distribution.
A bright lemon-citrus activity follows on from a soft toffee aroma, then the flavour progresses to a fruit explosion with blackberries, goji berries, apricot, orange blossom, and banana. A lively coffee with plenty to appreciate.
MULTI-BUY discounts are available when you buy more than 1 bag of coffee - mix and match across the beans too. Add to your cart and review the discount!
Redemption Roasters commenced operations in Aylesbury Young Offenders Prison with a mission to help reduce re-offending rates by skilling up the young people to help them find jobs and reintegrate into society. They are trained in competition-level barista skills.
The project has now expanded to 9 prisons and now also has an enlarged roastery facility in HMP The Mount near Hemel Hempstead.
Small batches of beans are expertly roasted led by a Head Roaster and Assistant Roaster who also train professional roasting skills. So not only is the coffee ethically sourced but the roasting process is socially responsible too.
