This Sugarcane Decaf blend from Colombia’s Huila region comes from the Coffee Belen Association's 50 small producers - from the Castillo, Cattura, Colombia, and Typica coffee varieties. Grown at altitudes between 1600 and 2000 meters.
The sugarcane decaffeination process involves soaking the harvested coffee in a compound derived from sugarcane - preserving and even enhancing the flavour profile.
La Estrella Del Ostro means Star of the Southern Wind. Grown in La Plata, Huila, Colombia the coffee is naturally fermented for 12-24 hours in cement tanks then washed inmicro mills, before being sundried on covered raised beds on each farm. There is a dedicated quality analyst working with the regions producers to ensure consistency from this regional blend.

Redemption Roasters are based in Aylesbury Young Offenders Prison and HMP The Mount, with a mission to help reduce re-offending rates by skilling up the young people to help them find jobs and reintegrate into society.
Small batches of beans are expertly roasted led by a Head Roaster and Assistant Roaster who train the young people in professional roasting skills and competition-level barista skills. So not only is the coffee ethically sourced but the roasting process is socially responsible too.
